Settlers Park

To help pass the summer time boredom, we decided to go to Settlers Park. It's just a public park that's free to go to. For my kids the best part of the park is the water section. We spent 3 or 4 hours there, as you can see they had a blast! The park is in Meridian, Idaho about an hour from our house, but only 15 minutes from my sisters house, so we're in that part of the woods often. We should go back more often.

Rosko the puppy

Our neighbors got a little puppy dog. He let our kids play with the puppy in our yard, the kids loved it! They would have traded that puppy for our dog Sassy, if I would have let them. The puppy got through the fence some more times, each time the kids didn't mind at all!

Trip to McCall

We went to McCall for Spring Break with my sister Amy and her family. There was a total of 12 people there, 4 adults and 8 children. I was suprised at the amount of snow there! The kids loved playing in it! Poor Madison got her foot stuck in the snow several times, one time David (Amy's husband) had to go help her get unstuck, he saved the day, because I didn't have any snow gear.

The girls and I snuck out one evening so they could go ice skating, they had a BLAST!

Retirement

This is Brad's retirement ceremony from the Air Force. It was a very simple party and ceremony, just as Brad wanted it. All the kids really cared about was writing on the BIG white board in the room.

Here's our family picture, Madison did not want to be in the picture. Brad got all the girls flowers and his son a Hot Wheel.

Fun in the snow!

On Jan 5th we got alot of snow, in fact all the snow you see in the picture, we got all of that in one day! Madison and Jacob are making a snow tunnel under all the snow we shoveled out of the drive way. We can't complain about the snow because we voluntered to live in Anchorage starting this summer. We will be dealing with more snow then that in Alaska.
